Have you received the product information bulletin?

It says: Customer moving to version 3.05 from 2.48 will need to adjust their existing applications to account fo country code API elements.

Displays / DM1000 Hdw File V305

When new hardware files come out I like to update the programs to the latest version.

When I did this to a program that was written using Hdw v245 and updated it to v305 I got pages of errors.  See below for a sample.  There are actually 4 pages of errors.

Displays / Re: Error/Event Log Text Box

I used 3 different input strings for each of the columns of data I needed. When parsing the data to use in the table, I always appended a "newline" at the end of each entry to created a list that builds. I've added a picture of the Screen Definition I built for my fault tables. As you can see, it accepts a standard string for each of the columns. I also had an extra input for the header of the table. This was the simplest solution I could come up with that gave a list of more than 20 rows.

Please add your solution to this thread if you have a different one.

PLUS+1™ Compliant Hardware / JS6000 & JS7000 CAN Function Block TimeOut Output
« Last post by acmall on November 30, 2021, 12:37:41 PM »
The CAN receive function blocks for the JS6000 & JS7000 have two signals TimeOutBJM and TimeOutEJM.

The user manual for the CAN function blocks state that these signals indicate if the function block receives the respective messages within a 100ms timeout limit (T = Message not received within 100ms limit, F = Message received within 100ms limit).

I am having an issue with these blocks as both are not indicating the timeout unless they have received at least one message. Is anyone else seeing this?

Function Library / Re: J1939 - Fuel Consumption - Reset Trip Info ?
« Last post by acmall on November 30, 2021, 09:10:17 AM »
I have never needed to use the trips so don't have any hands on experience. Some of the other forum members may be able to provide more help but in the mean time the meaning for the two bits are:-

00 - Take no Action
01 - Reset
10 - Reserved
11 - Not Applicable

Function Library / J1939 - Fuel Consumption - Reset Trip Info ?
« Last post by Challenger on November 29, 2021, 03:29:41 PM »
Hi all,

I need few information about the fuel consumption of our machine however I do not find how to Reset Trip Information.
The information is coded in 1 byte, the bit 1 and 2 (see the 56832 - Reset Any / Engine), but should I send TRUE on bit 1 and TRUE on bit 2 ? FALSE ?
Ang how to I know If I need to reset the Trip Group 1 or 2 ? What does make the difference ? How can I see on your document ?

Thank you

Displays / DM1000 CHART
« Last post by pinias on November 26, 2021, 02:52:43 PM »
Hello Guys,

has anyone have done something like this with the DM1XXX?

- showing numeric values and plot of trend of the variables- line graph variable versus time-

basically something like what is done in a spreadsheet, you have your data and you make a plot of the behavior overtime

if so what was the trick for that?

or do you know any other display that could do that?

thanks for the advise
