Compiling program changes without compiling images
« on: October 22, 2017, 05:17:03 PM »
Hello,

I'm wondering if there is a way to compile changes to my display program (for DP710) without compiling all the images being used. I try using the "Compile Changed" option, but almost every time the compilation goes through all the images as well even if I've only added a simple checkpoint to the program. As a result, compiling this display program takes about 7 minutes, with half of that being the images. This makes system debugging very tedious and time-consuming.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I just tested this on my system with a program for the DP720 that takes about 2 minutes to compile. I added a checkpoint and complied using Compile Changed. This resulted in a compile time of under 30 seconds and none of the images were compiled.

I am using Guide version 9.1.7 and the DP720 hardware file is 70096706v200.
